Abstract:
Nigara Falls: The Niagara River pours the water of Lake Erie into Lake Ontario. 35 kilometers downstream of Lake Erie, the river rushes abruptly, giving birth to the famous falls. The two falls are formed by the water separating the United States from Canada. The American waterfall is 51 meters in height and 320 meters wide. The Canadian waterfall (Horseshoe Falls) is 48 meters tall and 917 meters around. The water flows at 425,000 meters per minute, and it has the strength of 5 million horsepower, a tenth of which is being used currently. After leaving the falls, the water descends towards Lake Ontario (23 kilometers downstream) between two rocky shores. The speed of the water is called: "Whalpool Rapids," is 43 kilometers per hour. Niagara Falls is one of the most impressive natural spectacles. (Charles Duplet Warner) The end.
