How do I find Senior Theses?

The Seeley G. Mudd Manuscript Library is the central repository for Princeton University Senior Theses. You can search for a thesis in the Princeton University digital repository, DataSpace, for theses from 1924-Present. Theses from 1924-2012 are in paper format or are on microfiche and can only be viewed at the Seeley G. Mudd Manuscript Library. Senior theses created in 2013 and later are in digital format (mainly PDFs) and are stored in our digital repository, DataSpace.

Members of the University community do not need to visit the Mudd Manuscript Library to view theses from 2014-present since they are accessible in full-text, digital format from any Princeton-networked computer through DataSpace. Those outside of the University network may request a digital copy of a thesis by submitting their request here.

A small percentage of digital theses are restricted to viewing on computers in the Mudd Library (Walk-in Access), but digital copies can be purchased for a fee. Restrictions are noted in DataSpace.

We do require all first time visitor of the Library to register for a Special Collections Research Account. Further information about visiting Mudd Library can be found online.
