The Public Policy Papers document individuals and organizations that played a significant role in the areas of 20th-century American foreign policy (especially the Cold War), politics, jurisprudence, and public policy formation, as well as international development.

All donations to the Public Policy Papers must be discussed with the Curator of Public Policy Papers beforehand to ensure that the donation is an appropriate fit with our holdings. We ask that you submit an Ask Us Form so that we can direct your request to the correct person.

Donors of analog materials are asked to complete the Donor Agreement Form (also available in PDF format for printing and mailing with your donation). Donations can be sent via mail (65 Olden Street, Princeton, NJ, 08540) or donated in person at Mudd Library.

If your donation includes digital materials, we ask that you additionally complete the Digital Records Addendum. In most cases, an archivist from Mudd Library will pick up digital materials for the Public Policy Papers collections in person, though you may also ship digital materials to Mudd Library if the materials are only located on older media formats (CDs, floppy disks, etc.).

After we receive the donor form(s) and the donation of the materials, we will send a brief acknowledgment to assure you that the materials arrived safely. Then, in due course, you will receive a formal letter of acknowledgment from the University Librarian.
